    Obsessed With Ombre

The ombré effect is a trend you cannot ignore.  It’s a wonderful way to incorporate bold and muted tones of your favorite color in home decor and design.  The French word ombré is defined as colors or tones that shade into each other where the color is graduated from light to dark.  DIYs and new products are popping up all over in this fantastic and creative approach to color and while this hot style has been on the scene for a few years, it’s still going strong.  Recreate this look in your home with paint, textiles and accessories to add a light and airy feel to any space.  It seems to me to give a natural an earthy feeling, but what do you think?

The books from Etsy and the drapery from Shine, now that’s my kind of ombre! Perfection.

Ombre is one of my favorite things. Painting the railing like that is so creative!

I love what they did with those books, it makes me want to go thrift store hunting.
