You’re in Luck with Yellow

For those of us with our eyes set on lighter color palettes, a soft and sunny favorite is yellow.  Benjamin Moore’s color of the year is Lemon Sorbet, 2019-60.   Light and bright, use this hue of yellow to contrast with deeper shades of grey, green, purple or blue, or pair with with mint, coral, light blues and creams for a refreshing and subtle color combination.    As much as I love a bold pop of color, I’m happy to see this uplifting and cheerful color causing quite a stir.  What do you think and how may you use it in your home?

I find that my personal design style is always changing to some degree, but I would have to say that I am a Country girl at heart.  I love the comfort, coziness, and relaxed feel that it embodies.  I do love to add a bit of Modern elements into the mix to make it more current.

I love those painted ceiling medallions! That could be an easy and fun way to incorporate any color into your space. I think I need to try that!
