What a Display!

Any collectors of fine China out there?  Perhaps you’ve inherited several pieces or even received a beautiful set from your wedding.  The question is, what to do with it all?  I started thinking about the possibilites when I received a box of linenes and China from my grandmother this week.  She has collected quite a set of plates and serveware and knows that I always appreciated the pieces she has found.

Different ways of storing China can include a piece of furniture like a cabinet that may have mirrors and lighting for an extra effect, a hutch or sideboard with open cubbies or glass doors, or even an open bookcase or floating shelves.  You can use plate rails or holders, create elegant stacks or even present your prized China by hanging individual peices on the wall.  There are so many possibilites!  Here are some great photos that showcase beautiful China and give some insight on how to display your collection.

I find that my personal design style is always changing to some degree, but I would have to say that I am a Country girl at heart.  I love the comfort, coziness, and relaxed feel that it embodies.  I do love to add a bit of Modern elements into the mix to make it more current.
