The Library Look
I love the collected and studious look of a library, especially in the home. Grab your stacks of books and rearrange your living, dining, or bedroom shelves to emulate some of these amazing photos. A few tips to make your library come to life include painting or wall papering the backs of shelves to make the books pop, sorting by size and color adds to the collected feeling, lay some books horizontally and other vertically to add interest. Sometimes removing the covers of books can give a more distinguished look. Lastly, position small pieces of artwork and accessories throughout the shelves. You can always add some spotlighting for a dramatic effect on your accessories. Don’t forget to sit back, relax, and read a good book from your own in-home library.
